Look what you can do with some coloured paper, a paper punch, glue, and paint...
So all I did was hand S a paper punch and strips of coloured paper - green, pink and yellow, and she was at it for about an hour just punching holes.
And while she was doing her bit, I painted out the tree for her masterpiece:
Once the punching was done, all we needed to do was:
1. Spread the glue around the trees and at the bottom
2. Sprinkle some of the green on the bottom for the grass and the pink and yellow around the branches.
The flip side to this is that the tiny pieces of paper aren't easy to clean up... but this kept S busy for a good part of the morning, so it was worth it...
